Mary Ann Palermo Sings with Dave Bartley Quartet!

This Saturday, April 13, at Dorothy’s Estaminet, at 6:00 p.m., Mary Ann Palermo is adding her Jazz vocal gifts to the wonderful Dave Bartley Quartet. Dave Bartley, piano, is accompanied by Charlie Tokarz on horns, Pete Toigo on bass, and Thomas Parker on drums. Mary Ann Palermo focuses on Jazz, but takes a broad view, working with such producers and collaborators as Tom Teeley, the musician, arranger, and producer for Mary Ann Palermo’s Jazz on the Rocks and many other releases available through streaming platforms; Dave Smith, with a collection of piano and vocals Jazz standards now in production; and Bob Salimieri, saxophonist and composer, with whom she has co-written songs under several of Salimieri’s Italy-based recording labels, including Cultural Bridge.

Mary Ann Palermo and Dave Bartley are longtime collaborators periodically working together performing in the Berkshires.

The Dave Barley Quartet is the resident Jazz band on Saturdays at the new hot venue for live music at Dorothy’s Estaminet, now part of Dottie’s Coffee’s expanded space at 438 North Street, Pittsfield.
