Mary Ann Palermo and Friends Performs at Sheffield Historical Society’s Summer Gala, Friday, June 14, 2024
This year, the grand Summer Gala for Sheffield Historical Society features Jazz vocalist Mary Ann Palermo, with Emmy award winner Dave Smith on keyboard and Charlie Tokarz on reeds. Mary Ann Palermo is a well-known singer/songwriter and Spotify artist who has performed widely across the Berkshires for many years as a multi-genre performer and with some of the very best Jazz musicians who call the region their home.
The Sheffield Historical Society’s annual fundraising Summer Gala is an evening of elegance and philanthropy where indulging in an array of delectable hors d’oeuvres and exclusive signature cocktail and refreshing drinks happens amidst the lush surroundings of the Sheffield Historical Society’s gardens. The Summer Gala also hosts a silent auction featuring a selection of local items and experiences, and, of course, the wonderful Jazz performance of Mary Ann Palermo and her friends.
The Summer Gala happens on the grounds of Sheffield Historical Society, at 159-161 Main Street, Sheffield, where the Society’s Dan Raymond House Museum, Mark Dewey Research Center, and Old Stone Store are located.
Coming to the Summer Gala supports the Sheffield Historical Society’s mission of preserving local history and enriching the community through engaging events, exhibits, and educational programs for youth. Don’t miss this opportunity to mingle, celebrate, and contribute to a worthy cause on June 14th under the tents. During the Summer Gala, guests may purchase buy tickets to the organization’s Summer Soirées Cocktail Series of enchanting local garden parties. Each ticket purchased gives that buyer an invitation to one of these memorable gatherings.
